Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
MONOSZLO / HUNGARY
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel. Head West, to the Lake balafon area.
Stop on the Tihany peninsula. Enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Balaton. Enjoy a walking tour finishing with wine tasting. Then proceed on the Norhern shore of the Lake to Szigliget and Badacsony. Visit a local wine cellar, wine tasting and dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Monoszlo at the Liszkay Vineyard Estate. (B, D)
Day 2
MONOSZLO / HUNGARY
After breakfast, visit the world famous Herend porcelain factory. Continue to Somlo, the smallest wine region of the country with unique wines. In the afternoon continue with Tapolca. Return to Badocsony. Overnight at Badacsony. B, DDay 3
VILLANY / HUNGARY
Visit Keszthely, the oldest town in the region.Driving further south to Szigetvar, famous for its heroic battle against the Turks 6 centuries ago. Afternoon arrival to the southernmost wine region of the country,Villany - famous for its red wine. Visit a local cellar for wine tasting. Dinner and overnight at Villany (B,D)
Day 4
VILLANY / HUNGARY
After breakfast visit Siklos and its castle. Then continue to Harkany, famous of it's healing water and spa. Return to Villany. Dinner and taste the best wines of the region. Overnight at Villany (B,D)
Day 5
BUDAPEST / HUNGARY
After breakfast discover the sights of Pecs, the Cultural Mecca of Southern Hungary. Afternoon return to Budapest and drop off at your hotel, or at the Airport.
