Today after buffet breakfast and panoramic tour of Bucharest, departure for Curtea de Arges - visit the famous Monastery. Lunch en route. Arrive in Sibiu. Your guided walking City tour includes the Old City dating back to 1241. Visit the Fortress, the Evangelical Church, the Ethnographic and Popular Art Museum. SIGHISOARA / ROMANIA
Morning drive to the heart of Transylvania to visit the secret retreat for the royalties of Europe. The Saxon villages display a remarkable harmony between people and landscape. Drive to Biertan to visit the impressive fortified church. Lunch in a traditional house. Drive on the Sighisoara, birthplace of Vlad the Impaler (“Dracula”). Breakfast at the hotel. Full day in Bucovina - land of the unique painted monasteries. Visit the Moldovita and Sucevita monasteries with exterior frescos.
