Day by Day Itinerary

1. day

VIENNA / AUSTRIA

Arrive in Vienna, the capital of Austria. Make your way to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Vienna, in the hotel of your choice. In deluxe category, the elegant Intercontinental is featured. It is located at the City Park, within walking distance of Vienna's major sights.

2. day

VIENNA / AUSTRIA

Buffet breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, guided Grand Sightseeing Tour of Vienna, including the Ringstrasse, the Vienna State Opera House, the Hofburg Palace, the Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Parliament, the City Hall and the University. You will also visit the Baroque gardens of the Belvedere Palace and the magnificent Imperial Rooms of the Schönbrunn Palace. Overnight in Vienna (B)

3. day

VIENNA / AUSTRIA

Today is at leisure. Have a late breakfast at the hotel. You might go for a walk afterwards, maybe taste the famous Sacher torte in a cosy Cafe. Perhaps, you would like to visit the countryside, the romantic Danube Valley with Melk, Dörnstein and the Wachau. For tonight, we suggest that you plan a fun dinner in Grinzing, the famous wine growing village in the outskirts of Vienna. In Grinzing's "Heurigen" restaurants dinner is always accompanied by "Schrammel" music, played usually by a quartet of instruments; two violins, an accordion and a guitar. Overnight in Vienna. (B)

4. day

PRAGUE / CZECH REPUBLIC

Buffet breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, check out and make your way to the Railway Station. Take the train to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Upon arrival, check in to your selected hotel. In deluxe category, choose from two newly built hotels, both conveniently located to historic monuments: the Radisson SAS Prague or the Marriott. In first class category the popular K+K Fenix, the Bila Labut or the brand new Hotel Mucha are featured in this package. The hotels Belvedere, Anna or Mira are your choices in standard category. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Overnight in Prague, your choice of hotel. (B)

5. day

PRAGUE / CZECH REPUBLIC

Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Your morning historical city tour includes the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Hradcany Castle, the Loreto Church, the Old Town Square, the Tyn Church, the Charles Bridge, the Wenceslas Square and the old Jewish Quarter. Overnight in Prague. (B)

6. day

PRAGUE / CZECH REPUBLIC

Full day at leisure. After buffet breakfast at your hotel, you might want to visit a couple of the famous Bohemian Castles. First , the Karlstejn Castle, built in the 14th century. Continue to the former hunting lodge Konopiste, with a fascinating collection of historical weapons, furnishings, late Gothic paintings, tapestries & hunting trophies. Return to Prague in the late afternoon hours. Overnight in Prague. (B)

PRAGUE / CZECH REPUBLIC

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. End of your independent rail tour. (B)
